Father's Day Shopping [Katrina]

I was standing in front of the mall, waiting for Katrina. My ma had dropped me off and I was going shopping for father's day with her.

I had walked up without Star, she wasn't feeling all that great so Momma had her stay home with her. I walked up to Lily. "hey girl."

I turned to Katrina and smiled. "Hello."

"Ready?" I asked after giving her a small hug.

I returned the hug and smile and nod. "I am."

"So you got an idea what to get your dad?" I asked walking in with her.

I looked at Katrina thinking for a moment.
"Well, I have an idea, but am not sure yet, you?"

"The opposite, something small. I thought about getting his favorite cologne and some chocolate. Dad loves drak chocolate. And something to add a girly touch to the gift." I replied, smiling like a little girl.

I nod. "Thats a very good idea girl." I smiled at her.

"Thank you." I said and giggled. "Oh... and don't make it too big. Uncle Thomas also values small things." I added.

I smile at her. "Ok mind helping me find something for him?"

"I'd love to." I said happily.

I smiled. "Ok where to first?"

"Hmm... perfumery?" I suggested.

I nod and lead the way,

I walked next to Katrina, looking around a little.

Once in there I started looking around.

"You know uncle Thomas' favorite cologne?" I asked her, looking at Katrina. I actually didn't have to ask, because I knew it pretty well, but I just wanted to ask her.

"I know the smell, but not the name." I told her.

"That's a start... and don't worry, I know both." I said proudly. "just because there are some that smell a little similar." I said.

I nod and smile watching the girl.

I looked at Katrina, smiling a little. "Strange I know that, huh?"

I smile and shank my head. "No I used to know the stuff Mac used to cause it made me feel safe."

I smiled a little and nodded, knowing what she meant. It always made me happy to see when family was that close to each other.
