Little did we know, that he planned his last murder and that he wasn't planning to go to jail, but end it a little differently.

After the victim was in the ME's van I walked over to the SUV Shannon and I came in and put my kit in the back before getting in.

I had a strange feeling about this case. I wondered why the killer placed the riddles on his victims and why he killed them.

Back at the lab I started processing the note again, finding the same thing as on the note before. This time there was a "No. 2" written on the back.

I looked at the crime scene photos and tried to find something.
At the same time a third note was left at the front desk for me.

Shannon was doing the same, as she did, a light gray powder got her attention, she collected it, then went over to MAS spec to analyze it

I didn't find anything out of the ordinary, but at one point I walked back to my office, to get another file I had there, when I noticed another piece of paper on my desk.
A crime is punishable if attempted but it's not punishable if committed. What is it?
I looked at it, thinking for a moment.
"Suicide..." I said out loud.
