Sara had moved into her dorm at NYU a few months early in order to get a start on classes and begin training with the basketball team that she was on, her roommate was a slender 5'9" girl from Italy who was also on the team, the two became good friends due to their shared faith and love of basketball, they were walking across campus one day when Sara saw a familiar face

I was walking across the campus, actually on my way back home, when I saw Sara and another girl.

"Aunt Haylen!" Sara called out to her, smiling at the same time, she turned to walk over, her roommate Silvia Martelli followed her

"Hey Sara." I greeted her, smiling as well.

Sara hugged Haylen, then pulled back, "Aunt Haylen, this is my roommate Silvia." she said, introducing her

I smiled and offered my hand to the tall girl. "Nice to meet you. I'm Haylen." I said.

Silvia looked at Haylen, then shook her hand, "Nice to meet you as well Haylen." she replied in her Italian accented voice

I smiled at them. "So, you like your new surrounding so far?" I asked them.

"I do" Sara replied

"Sounds good. I had a lot of fun, while studying here." I replied, thinking back to my time at the university.

Sara and Silvia both nodded in reply, "We hope for the same" Sara replied

"I'm sure you both will." I said, smiling a bit.

Sara nodded, as did Silvia

I gave them a smile.

"We were going to get lunch, would you like to join us?" Sara asked

"Sure, if you want me to." I replied, nodding at the same time.

"Of course we do" Silvia replied

I smiled a bit. "Where did you want to go?"

"We were going to a Mexican place just down the block." Sara replied
