Gunned down (Anyone)

Henry was at his apartment when someone rang his bell, answering the door, the person took out a gun shot Henry in the adomen and ran away, too weak to chase, Henry grabbed his phone and dailed for help but before he could say anything, he fell to the group and blacked out.

Henry had been asking me to bring him some files from the lattest case we had been working on for almost a week and that night I thought to finally drop by to leave them. When I got to the appartement, the door was opened and I saw him lying on the ground, shot in the abdomen. "Oh God," I gasped. I fell on my knees to see if he breathes and - thank God - he was. Then I pulled out my phone and called an ambulance.

Henry was already shifting in and out of conciouse when Ivy arrived, andtyu9p[ wasfhjo;' too we@R&ak to fo anything.

The ambulance arrived quickly and we got to the hospital. I let him with the doctors and I remained in the waiting room. I was nervous, walking from there to there, as I didn't know what to think, he was fine about 1 hour ago.

After a few hours the doctors came out and said "Everything would be fine." and at the same time Henry was regaining concious and started to remenber mor details on his attack.

As fast as I was said I can see him, I entered the room. I saw him in bed, rubbing his forehead. "Hey, hon'," I said as I approached.

"Ah Hi Ivy and what a fine day it is, the first second you are al ok, then when you open you're door, bang you get shot, this day is just absoltly great." Henry said clearly sarcastic.

I couldn't help smiling when I heard that, despite the situation. "You'll never stop being sarcastic, will you?" I asked.

I was working on this case. Got my equipement, and drove till the Henry's appartement. I entered and just see some people who where work for NYPD. One officer was standing outside the appartment, and I see Flack over there inside the appartment. I enter and greet him. "Hi Flack, so what's happening there?"

"Detective Henry McGeorge was gunned down at his apartment earlier this day."

I sighed and walked till him. "Bad day for him, is he okay?" I asked, while I get my latex gloves for starts to get all evidences.

"Not sure, Det.Smith was the first to arrive at the scene and is currently at the hospital with him."

When I heard that Ivy was there, I just feel like surprise. And Don noticed it, because I just directly turn my head when I heard her name. "Okay" But I quickly turn it back and act like it was nothing. Now wearing the gloves I started to collect evidence. That was a mess here, between all crap made by parademic, and things made during the gun shoot. "That is a total mess and parademics didn't help."

"Sarcasm is a way of life."

I gave a small chuckle at Danny reaction when I said Ivy was here, and I started looking around the place and jokingly said "This place sure is a mess, does Det.McGeorge ever clean this place."

I laugh a bit too, of course wasn't right to joke right now, because we didn't know if he will be alright, but the situation was like this. And if it can make think Don that I didn't want to say anything about Ivy it's so fine. I look back to Don when I heard his comment and add "I am not sure." While I found something not mess by parademics's work. "BOOM" I said, just found a bullet.

I walk over to Danny when I heard him while saying "Danny I m beginning to wonder if Lucy's first words were Boom."

He walk over to me, and tell me this. I smile and laugh a bit "Are you quoting my Lindsay ?" I said while still laughing and added "Because she told me this last time too"

"Back to the actual job now, SO what exactly did you find."

I left Henry at the hospital, but promised to come back later. I entered his appartement for some investigations and saw Danny and Flack. "Hey, people," I greeted and walked over to them.

I laugh and take the bullet "A bullet, fragment of a bullet" I replied to Don as I show it to him after I take a picture of it. Then I saw Ivy, wasn't expecting her here. I greet her too. "Hey"

"I see, and Hello Det.Smith."

"It's Ivy," I smiled to Don. "I'm coming from the hospital, Henry is fine, thank God," I said walking in the appartement to take a closer look. "Did you find anything?"

"Danny just found a bullet casing."

I was questionning myself about the reason of Ivy's presence in Henry's appartement. But I didn't share my though with them. I just listen them while I pack the bullet. "Yes maybe, a 22, but we will know more about when it will go in the ballistic."
