a rather different job (anyone)

I nodded quietly.
"Well, it's worth a try, though she didn't get the view she has here it adds a point to her security." I said.

I walk into the hotel room and see the serious looks on the mens faces "What's up?" I dare to ask with a smile not knowing yet what was going on. I've had a few days off and didn't catch up with some cases yet. I had no clue what we three were doing in a hotel room when I saw there was no dead body on the floor.

"Well, you and Thomas were requested for a rather different job. As you may know... Athena Rosi is coming to town and you two were assigned to her detail." I eplain to her. "That means Ms. Rosi requested Thomas and he'd like you to join him."

"so the job is protecting her and risk my life for her?" I frown slightly and look at Thomas "is he serious?"

Thomas looked at Stella, then nodded in reply, seeing that she was upset at the situation, he didn't blame her, he was still trying to wrap his head around it

"Stella, you risk your life for this city every day on the job." I told her in a gentle tone. "But before you're mad at me: it wasn't my idea."

I raise my eyebrow and frown right after it. "if you think that woman is the whole city it's a very good idea to go...." I sigh heavily and look at Mac "I know it wasn't your idea"

I gave her a tight lipped smile and nod, not really knowing what exactly was her problem, but then it wasn't really the job we were trained for.

Thomas stood back and watched as Mac and Stella made the exchange about this job that he and Stella were tasked with

"So what's the plan?" I ask and look from Mac to Thomas.

"We will be escorting Ms. Rosi to the U.N. building when she makes her speech on Friday and when ever she is out of the hotel." Thomas replied

"Lovely... I hope Thomas and I will be sleeping in the hotel too, Mac?" I say with a smile

I look up at her a little surprised and I'm not sure what to answer as I didn't except that.
"Well, she's got her regular detail with her, which is staying here, so... actually..."

"Yes we will be" Thomas replied

"Now you're talking my language" I say with a big smile across my face. "ok let's get this over with!"

Thomas smiled a bit, then got back to work, going over other details with Stella as he stood next to Mac

Reading the file was kinda 'typical' and didn't look very hard. we can easily do this

I just shake my head with a small smile as I listen to Thomas telling Stella more about their job.

"Henry Thompson is the lad we have to keep a look out for." Thomas said to Stella, not wanting to lose sight of his threat on Ms. Rosi

"Along with Harry Lambert." I added.

Thomas nodded, "Him as well" he replied, these to men were the top of the New Greece movement

"That is only one reason..." I piped up.

"Aye" Thomas said to her in reply with a slight nod, then looked at Mac when he said that

"and the second?"
