I look up at him with a small smile.
"My strength back?" I suggested in a somewhat light tone.

Keven smiled back, "If there is anything I know about you Haylen, its your ability to bounce back." he said to her

His words forced a smile to my lips.
"Definitely. No one's ever getting rid of me easily."

Keven smiled at Haylen when she said that, at the same time, Shannon got the shop Keven told her about, when she walked in, the only guy there ran from her, Shannon gave chase

I stayed quiet for a bit, wondering if Shannon was going to find whoever did this to me and if I was going to find out why this happened.

At the same time in the shop the guy fell over a pile of tires.

Shannon cought up with the guy and handcuffed him, then walked him back to the patrol car that was with her, putting him in the back

"¡Maldita sea, perra!" (damn it, bitch) The guy cursed in spanish, thinking Shannon wouldn't understand.

At the same time in the hospital I couldn't keep my eyes open.

Shannon understood him, "Atención a repetir eso?" (care to repeat that?) she asked after sitting the guy in the car

"Ya me has oído." (You heard me.) The guy said and then kept his mouth shut.

In the hospital I woke up to a nightmare.

Shannon sighed, then closed the door to the car, at the same time, Keven took Haylen's hand

I pushed the images from the nightmare away, trying to forget those moments, or what I remembered.

Keven put his arms around Haylen and comforted her, "Your safe now sweetie" he said into Haylen's ear, meanwhile, Shannon was back at the lab with her suspect

"I know..." I said and just held onto him, happy that he was there.

Back in the interrogation room the guy, Miguel Gonzalez just looked at Shannon.

Keven smiled a bit, he would do anything to keep her safe


Shannon sat in front of Miguel and looked back at him, "¿Dónde estaban ustedes esta mañana? (Where were you this morning?) she asked

"Me estaba divirtiendo." Miguel said with a smut grin. (I was having fun)

"Con la oms?" Shannon asked, (With who?)

"Con esta detective bonita. Sabes que ya." (With this beautiful detective. You know that already.) He replied, still grinning.

Shannon kept her anger in check when he said that, "¿Por qué raptarla?" (Why did you kidnap her?)

"Si no puedo tener ella, nadie puede." (If I can't have her, no one can.) he said, his voice getting a little angry.

"Ella equivocado que de alguna manera?" Shannon asked just as hard, (She wrong you some way?)

"Ella rompió conmigo. Traté de recuperarla." (She broke up with me. I tried to get her back.) Miguel said to Shannon.

At the time I woke up again, finally remembering the face of the guy who did this to me. I knew him and it wasn't from a case.

"Por lo que quiso hacer de ella sufren de dejando?" Shannon asked, (So you wanted to make her suffer for leaving you?)

"Si." he almost hissen. "Ella se lo merecía." (She deserved it)

At the time I said: "I know him...."

"Know who Haylen?" Keven asked
