Missing Friend [Everyone]

It was a beautiful, sunny day, though it was cold outside.
I was standing in front of a nice decorated grave, where fresh flowers were left only a few hours ago. On top of the grave stone lay a single white Lily. It had been hard to get one this time of the year, but it had been my friend's favorite flower and every year, I promised at her furneral, I would drop by and leave a white Lily for her. She died four years ago in a car crash, as she was on her way home. We wanted to meet that afternoon.
I was trying to keep my tears back, but I couldn't. A few tears were rolling down my cheek, as I stand there, thinking of that day. Lily... her favorite flower and her name. She had been my best friend. Today four years ago she was killed...
"I miss you my friend..." I whispered as I tried to whipe my tears away.

Shannon was walking out of the church after a meeting with the priest, looking over to the cemetery, she saw Haylen standing by a grave, wondering what she was there for, Shannon turned and walked over to her

I finally whiped my tears away and turned around to leave, seeing Shannon walking up to me, I stayed where I was and waited for her. Honestly I was glad to see someone I knew.

Shannon walked up to Haylen, she could tell that she had been crying, "Haylen, you okay?" she asked in a concerned tone

I look at Shannon and tried a small smile.
"Yeah... just... visted my best friend's grave. She was killed four years ago." I said and struggled to keep my tears back. I had been crying enough for now, just because I hated crying in front of other people.

Shannon nodded, seeing the pain in Haylen's face, "What happened to her?" she asked, not trying to sound insensitive

"Well, she was on her way home when she got into a car crash." I said in a sad tone. "We wanted to meet that afternoon..."

"Oh" Shannon said softly, "Haylen, I'm so sorry" she said to her

"Thank you." I said with a small smile and took a deep breath. "Just miss her, you know."

Shannon nodded, "Your welcome" she replied, "I know the feeling" she added, remembering when her father died

"Well, I guess coming here and just remember some really great times makes it a little better, though it's hard at times. Just... unfair she never got the chance to marry and have a family." I said my tone a little lighter.

Shannon listened to Haylen, "You will see her again Haylen" she said to her

"I know." I said and smiled a bit, before composing myself. I'm not exactly a weak kind of woman, but sometimes even I have my moments where I just break down and cry.
"It's amazing how just a few words can make it look better."

Shannon nodded in agreement, "Agreed" she replied, put her arm around Haylen in a friendly manner

I smiled a little, thankful that I met her here.
"She would have liked you, I guess." I say warmly.

"Oh she would have?" Shannon asked

"Well, we had a lot in common, especially when it came to friends." I said in a lighter tone.

Shannon nodded, then pulled her hand back, "She sounded like a great person" she replied

"She was. Very sweet and charming, but she got her own sense of humor." I said with a small smile. It was good to talk about her to someone I trusted.

"I see" Shannon replied, "I take it you two were like sisters?" she asked

Shannon nodded, "Long time to know someone" she replied while walking out of the graveyard with Halyen, she could hear the pain in her voice

"It is and it's been good time." I say in a lighter tone and try a small smile.

Shannon looked over and saw that Haylen was attempting a smile, "You going to be okay?" she asked

"I think so, thanks." I reply, feeling much better now.
