Mountains of Paper work (Anyone)

Kayla was sat in her office with mountains of paper work which she offered to her fellow detectives who was busy she sat looking out her office which looked out to Mac office she kept her eye on the elevator because of her daughter no doubt drop in. she sat writing hoping someone will drag her out of the office somewhere where there is know writing

Shannon walked by Kayla's office, seeing all the paperwork that she had, she stopped, then knocked on the door, "Hello Kayla" she said to her, "Mac pile the papers on you again?" she asked

Kayla was in a deep of thought until there was a knock on the door she snapped out of them and looked at Shannon Yes she thought to herself and smiled at Shannon "Hey Yeah he did but i dont mind" She smiled at the women

Shannon nodded, "Need any help?" she asked, still standing in the doorway to Kayla's office, glancing around at the same time before looking back at Kayla

Kayla looked through the files " a kiddnapping i have no idea bout that one" Kayla looked at Shannon "i just wondered if you did?"

Shannon walked over and looked at the file, she then picked it up and sat in the chair across from her, opening the file up and reading it over

"i didnt here about it until Mac handed me the paper work unless i was off duty" Kayla spoke as Shannon sat on the chair on the desk

"I did, but Mac had me on another case." Shannon replied, referring to the one she just wrapped up, she continued to read over the file

"oh right i dont know who was on that then" Kayla sat back in her chair

"Its okay" Shannon replied when she looked up form the file, "Is this your case?" she asked

"Nope well unless he handed it over to me" Kayla started

Shannon nodded, "Well, I'll help you out" she replied, standing up, "I'll be in the lab with the evidence."

"Kayla smiled "thank you I be right there" Kayla stood and tidied her desk and followed shannon

Shannon nodded, "Your welcome" she replied while walking down the hall

Kayla smiled to herself and turned to face the files she tidied them up and left her room

meanwhile, Shannon got to the layout room and started to go over the evidence from the case

Kayla walked out her office towards the layout room to meet Shannon

Shannon was half way though when she saw Kayla walk up

Kayla walked into the lab "hey" she moved closer to the table "what we found so far"

"Well, there have been ten reports of crimes like this across the city." Shannon said to her

Kayla nodded "So all of them could have a link to them?" Kayla looked at her

Shannon nodded, "Yep, we just have to find it" she replied

Kayla nodded at Shannon looking at the file "if we bring the suspects back into this case there must be one suspect thats guilty" Kayla told her

"Agreed" Shannon replied as she looked back at the papers that were in front of her
