'Partner time' [Mac]

we enter central park and I must say it's really quiet at this time.. kinda scary and trust me I'm not scared easily but just the fact that we had to solve quiet a lot murder cases in here it just feels weird

"You sure you want to walk here?" I ask concerned, just to make sure she was okay. I knew it felt weird to walk through Central Park when it was dark.

"I think we should go home" I tell him and stop walking, why do we put ourselves in danger is we dont have to

"Okay. Then we walk home. So we will take a walk and go home then. Besides it's not far from here as you know." I said and gave her a loving smile. She was right, probably Central Park wasn't really the right place to gp for a night walk. Besides when it's only lightened by a few street lights along the ways, it gets a little spooky, though I wasn't to be scared easily, but still it wasn't the place I wanted to be at this late hour, especially not with Stella.

"sounds like a very good idea Taylor!" I grin and and start walking again. "Do I get a key of OUR apartment anytime soon" I say with a big smile

"Well, you can have one when we're home. Though I thought you already had one?" I asked a little confused, because I thought I'd given her a spare key to my new apartment after I moved in.

"no I put it in your drawer at work, I'm sorry, I put it there after we had a little argument last week" I explain and look down to the floor

I stop walking and gently turn you around, so that you face me. I rest my hand under your chin and gently make you look at me.
"It's okay, Stella. It just stays there and you'll get the other key I have at home. This one came with 2 spare keys, so you can have that one and the other stays where it is. Haven't even noticed you put it there." I say in a warm tone.

"Thank you" I say with a smile "I had no idea you didn't find the key yet, I guess I thought you would actually look into your drawer once in a while"

"Which one did you place it in? Because I mostly just use the first one, you know: badge and gun drawer." I said a little teasing. "I wasn't around the office long since then."

"the second, I didn't want to let the key ruin your 'gun' it would be such a drama if there would be a scratch on it right" I grin and squeeze your hand

"You sound like I'm treating my gun like you'd treat some expensive jewelry..." I say and smirk.

"because you do Mac and we both know it honey" I laugh a little

"I don't... I just keep it clean and going, but it already has a lot of scratches..." I defend myself in a soft tone.

"yea right Mac!" I say and grin

"Okay, let me state a fact here: I don't treat my gun like expensive jewelry." I say firmly and wonder where she got that idea from.

"If you say so Mac" I try to hide my big smile. "I don't even have expensive jewelry, so I don't know what's it like "

"Well... lets just say: I use my gun... and I do that a lot. I just tend to clean it every once a while."

"Waoohhh I do the same, isn't that crazy!" I grin and kiss your cheek "we are so much alike or wait.. we have the same job! "

"Ha-ha... maybe... maybe I should go and order a new gun... need one without scratches, you know?" I say teasingly.

"If you get a new gun I want a new car" I grin "there are so much scratches on it, I feel so embarrassed when I have to drive in it"

"You always drive safely and I know you don't have that much scratches on your car, honey." I tease.

"Are you kidding me? remember the guy that drove right into my car? well I can tell you there are still scratches on back seat door after they repaired the damage" I explain with a smile.

"You can buy a new car if I don't have to pay it." I say and grin. "Trust me, your car is great."

"That's just evil Taylor!" I grin and playfully slap your shoulder
