Trouble for a week. (Mac/Anyone)

I smiled as he agreed to let me help. When he ask if I got something special I shank my head.

"How about old fashioned pancakes with bacon?" I suggest.

"Trying to make me fat? I joke.

"How could I? I could also feed you oatmeal if you like that better." I gently tease.

I make a grossed out face. "So mean." I tease back.

"Do I even have a nice side?" I toss back at her, grinning.

I smile in reply.
"Safely tugged away. Bet criminals don't like nice sides."

I smile. "True enough."

I give her a smile.
"So... any plans for today?"

I shank my head and looked at him. "You?"

"Well... actually not." I reply

I nod looking at him. "Some how I knew that?"

"Well, it's hard to make plans when I'm on call." I reply with a small sigh.

I nod. "True."

"Wanna go shopping?" I suggest, knowing that I had to get some things anyways, so I could take her with me and have at least a nice morning or afternoon with her, hoping my phone wouldn't ring.

I smile. "Sure." I look back at what I was doing.

I concentrate on making breakfast again, a smile now playing on my lips. So far, so good.

I glance a Mac from time to time.

I noticed that but don't say anything. Once breakfast is ready and everything is on the table, I sit down again.

I sit down with him and let him start.

I start into breakfast and think about telling her what I just read in the newspaper.

I got mine and looked at him. "Got something on your mind?"

"Was just thinking about that guy kidnapping those girls. Seems like they found him, though it's just a suspect yet." I say, looking at her.

I nod. "Well thats good. I hope he's the right guy."
