On the phone [Mac]

"yes" I laugh

Wait a second? She can't be serious... I think and smile.
"Well, I'd do it, but I fear it's a little too cold and I wonder what the cabbie might think if I'll be outside in just my PJs. Not to mention who I could run into..." I state in a somewhat serious, but also light tone.

"ok, you may wear a coat over it, it's that or no deal" I grin

I think about your offer, but I know I'd feel bad if I would let you do my housework, so I I'm not sure If I really can agree to that.
"Ya know, as much as I would love to come over, but I'd feel bad if you did my housework... on the other hand you should enjoy your day off." I say in a low tone.

"Mac I don't mind helping you out with your housework. I like spending my day off with you, you know that" I smile, I really don't mind helping him out

Oh Mac... I thought.
"Well... I like that, too, but I don't like going out with only PJs and a jacket... just feels... strange." I try to get out of it, knowing that if my mother would call tomorrow and she knew Stella was helping me with that stuff she'd start the whole story all over again. And I knew she would call....

"Ok, you're on your own tomorrow Taylor, I'll see you around 4pm tomorrow for coffee. Sweet dreams Mac" I say

"hey... I didn't mean to upset you..." I say in haste, not realling wanting her to hang up.

"I'm not upset, just figured you would want to sleep since you don't want to come over"

"That's not fair. Would you go outside with just your PJs on?" I counter with a small shake of my head.

"to go to you? Yes I would, Mac this is NYC!" I laugh

I chuckle as I hear her comment and think for a while.
"And what am I supposed to do at your place with just my PJs? You know... I'm just a little shy." I say in a light tone.

"sleep, like a human Mac" I grin and imagine Mac walking into my apartment in only his pj's

"Very funny Ms. Bonasera." I state with a slight smirk. "Yes I heard that grin."

"so you're not coming over?" I try to sound sad

I say nothing, cover my phone and knock on your door.

I frown and get up. Who the hell dares to knock on my door at this time.. Maybe.... I grin and hope I'm right. I walk to the door in an oversized shirt and open the door "Mac!" I smile when I see him standing there

I hang up and stuff my phone into the poket of my coat and give you a hug.
"Surprise." I whisper into your ear.

"a very nice surprise Taylor" I smile and wrap my arms around you while I kiss your cheek

"Come in!" I smile and drag you into my apartment while closing the door behind you

I step into the apartment and then took my coat off, revealing my navy blue PJs for you.

"and that's your pj's" laughs "I can't believe you actually came"

"Trust me I don't believe it either." I said with a shy smile.

"but you're here now, you want something to drink? to eat?" I smile and lay my phone down on the table
