Where's Stella?

I had to talk to Stella about a case we are working on and so I knocked on her door, waiting for her to open. I knocked again, but still no reply.

Stella?

I took my phone and dialed her number but she didn't pick up. I knocked again but still nothing. I really was worried and dialed Mac's number. Maybe he knows where she is.

As i walk to my apartment I see Jess standing infront of my door

"Jess! why are you here?" I say and hug her.

after I pull away from the hug I unlock the door

"Come in!" I say happy and let her in

I shut down my phone and went into Stell's appartement.

[b]Where have u been? I was worried! I already thought the Greek guy is back !

I sat down on her couch.

I think Mac knows about our secret investigation I admitted and looked at her with concern.

"Well he better don't know about it otherwise we are DEAD! he told me to step down and let him investigate but this guy tried to kill me!

I lock the door behind us, he really scared the shit out of me!

"Don't worry about me, I'm a big girl with a gun" I smile to her.

Deep inside i'm scared Mac finds out and fire me.. then I'm lifeless

We sat there for a moment in silent.
Suddenly my phone rang.

Excuse me, honey! That's the departement!

I went in the next room while I started the conversation.
It was Mac...

After the conversation with Mac, I went back to the living room and sat next to Stella.

"I have to get back to the departement! He's in a bad mood"

I looked at my friend with concern and tried to read her mind. It was obvious that there was something she didn't wanna tell anybody.

"Mac is just tired..." I reply and giving her the cup of coffee "Coffee first Jess"

Why is she looking at me like that? she looks worried. Would she know that I find it so hard to lie to Mac?

"Jess, I heard Danny is flirting with you? that's creepy you know that!"

Actually I noticed that he is flirting with her, but honestly I don't like that. I know how much Don cares for her and I want her to be together with Don not with Danny...

I just wanted to take a sip of my coffe as I hear Danny's name.

"Well, I know... I don't really think he's flirting... I mean... Ahm.... U know!"

I quickly looked into my coffe cup.

"I really have to go then, before Mac is coming here in personal to get me to the lab."

"if he would I give him coffee, then he will be quiet!" I smile and go back to the topic 'Danny'

I would love it if Mac came over for coffee but i know that wouldn't happen.

"Jess, he's flirting with you!"

Jess for Christ sake! YOU LOVE DON! and I know you do!
I think in myself knowing I better don't say that out loud hihi.

"U should stop talkin about that topic, Stell! Think of you and Mac... I'm not stupid! I realized that there was something going on!"

I took a sip of my coffe and was glad that I could change the topic.

"Come on Stella! You like Mac! That's so obvious... I wouldn't wonder if everyone on the team had noticed that already."

Actually I really wanted to change topic, but the electriyity between them was no imagination.

"No! I mean yes! I mean... you are more than friends!"

I looked at her with concern. I deeply care about her and just wanna help her. She souldn't deny her love to him. I know what that can do to people.

Obviously she didn't want to talk about it so I stope before she starts with Danny again.

"Okay! So let's change topic! Do u still have problems with the Greek guy?"

"You can tell me, you know?" "If something is bothering you, I mean!"

I looked at her and recognized how thin she was.

"Are u eating enough?"

"Thank I really appreciate that Jess, but there is nothing wrong"

hopefully she believed me. I learned lying like the best, cause I really needed it in fostercare...

"Jess.. I'm Greek, I eat!" I tell her, again hoping she believed me

"Okay! if u say that! U know that I just care about u?!"

I took another sip of my coffe and got another call from Mac.

as she looked at her display I asked "Mac?" she nods and I grab the phone out of her hand

"Mac, she's on her way out. She was with me so I'm sorry I kept her here so long."
"She will be right there don't worry"

I hang up the phone and gave it back to Jess

"It was my fault so if he asks about it just say, Stella wanted to talk to me. He will be fine with that"
