Kindergarten

Heather was playing on the swings waiting for her mommy to pick her up. Heather begin to wonder.

Heather Lynn said" Is mommy even coming, did she forget I was at school?"

Just five minutes.. just five but i was to late I have to admit I'm too late -sigh- once more I forgot the time normally I was just on time but Sid came with the autopsy report and said it was important he was right it was important.. But after all it wasn't as important as my child.. I really have to change.. I can't just leave my kid alone... oh man.. will she still be at school?

I park my car right in front of Heather's school. I jump out of the car and see her sitting on the swings, thank god she wasn't the only child who was still here.. I just can't imagine her being all on her own here..

"I'm so sorry honey for being late, are you okay?"

I say while I kneel in front of the swing so I was around her hight to not scare her.

Heather crossed her tiny little arms and sighed

Heather said" mommy, how could you for for get your own child, is work more inporment then me?"

"of course not sweetie you are way more important than work, But uncle Sid came to me when I was on my way out. I know it's not an explanation and I'm really sorry. are you coming with me now?"

I reach out my hand so we could go home.

Heather jumped off the swing and took her mommy's hand and yawned.

"maybe i will go to bed early tonight, mommy, is it normal to be scared of thunder and lighting?

Heather yawned

"Oh honey you don't have to be scared of the thunder and lighting"

When I was her age I was scared of the thunder and lighting as well so I can understand what she is going through right now, But I guess you grow over it.

Heather nodded and said" mommy I went to the nurse to day and she checked it and said have a Middle ear infection?"

Heather and her mommy walked to the car and heather opened her door by her self, and climb in her car seat.

Heather whined bc her ears wher bothering her and held her ear and said" I don't want to go to the doctor, i don't like them?"

"what?" I asked concerned "and your nurse didn't thought of calling me?"

I closed the car door behind Heather and went over to the divers seat and start the car.

"I'm sorry, But we are going to the doctor now"

Heather didn't really care she was just glade she has her mommy, and didn't really care if she was going to the doctor.

Heather was fast asleep in her car seat.

Stella and Heater waited 5 minutes till the doctor came to help them, he had given Stella antibiotics for Heather.

Stella had called Mac to tell him about Heather and that they are heading home right now. Mac had picked up Karina from school and was also heading home now.

Heather stayed asleep and Heather woke up. Heather rubbed her eyes and yawned.

Heather said" are we home yet mommy?"

"Yes, we are home"

I carried her out of her car seat and took her upstairs to our apartment.

Heather layed her head on her mommy's shoulder, and yawned

I unlock the door and go in, I greet Mac with a smile and see Karina drawing by the table, I go straight to Heather's room and lay her in her bed.

"Goodnight sweetie" I give her a kiss on her forehead and smile.

"night mommy, ?"and stayed asleep
